Regulate · A Day for Practitioners
Chronic pain that won't resolve? Gut issues that keep returning? Fatigue, anxiety and symptoms across multiple systems that nothing seems to fully resolve?
If you work with complex clients, you know exactly how this feels.
It can leave you feeling frustrated, depleted, and like something important is missing.
Adding a nervous system lens can change what's possible. This day will show you how to find it — and give your own nervous system the reset it's probably been waiting for too.
Sunday 19 July 2026 · 9:00am–4:30pm · Kawana Island Meeting Place, Sunshine Coast

The Why
Chronic nervous system dysregulation affects healing, gut function, sleep, hormones, detoxification, immune responses, pain processing, brain function and emotional regulation. It can drive the symptoms your clients keep coming back with.
But how to recognise it, assess it, and address it clinically is rarely taught. That's what this day is.
Most CPD days send you home with more information and the same nervous system you arrived with. This one is different. You'll leave having experienced genuine regulation in your own body.
A full day immersive — for practitioners who want to go deeper.
Regulate: A Day for Practitioners is a small-group, hands-on training day for health practitioners and coaches who want to understand the nervous system at a clinical level — and experience powerful regulation tools in their own body before teaching them to clients.
You'll leave with a clinical toolkit, a new lens for your practice, and a nervous system that has actually experienced the work.
What you will learn:
This is not just a lecture day. You'll experience every tool in your own body first, then learn how to apply it clinically.
— How to recognise nervous system dysregulation in your clients and yourself.
— The neuroscience behind it all the ANS, HPA axis, limbic system in plain language, with clinical relevance throughout.
— Vagus nerve anatomy, function + experience vagus nerve electrical stimulation. How it works, why it matters, and hands-on experience with stimulation techniques.
— How to raise this topic with your clients - framing for different clinical contexts, without overstepping your scope.
— State-specific regulation tools in your own body first
— Interoception and co-regulation — the piece that is often missing in clinical practice. What it is, why it's reduced in most dysregulated clients, and how to train it.
— A full breathwork journey to close
You'll leave feeling the work — not just knowing it.
This day is for you if:
You're a physiotherapist or allied health practitioner looking to expand your clinical toolkit
You're working with clients who have complex or chronic presentations
You're a naturopath, integrative practitioner, psychologist, or counsellor wanting to apply a nervous system lens
You're a yoga teacher, somatic practitioner, or breathwork facilitator wanting the neuroscience behind your work
You're seeing clients who aren't progressing the way they should — and you want to understand why
You're experiencing burnout or chronic stress yourself and recognise that something needs to change
You want to be able to speak confidently about nervous system regulation with clients and colleagues

Yes. The nervous system underpins every modality. Whether you work in physiotherapy, coaching, naturopathy, psychology, or movement — this content will expand how you work with every client.

Just yourself, comfortable clothing, and an open mind. You may like to bring your own TENS machine or Estim if you would like to use it for the vagus nerve electrical stimulation.
