If you’re feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and stuck in survival mode—like your body just won’t cooperate —you’re not alone.

You might have tried different diets, supplements, and therapies, but not found the outcomes we were looking for.

What if your body isn’t failing you but instead trying to protect you? What if the missing piece to this puzzle is learning how to work with your nervous system?

You might be experiencing anxiety, digestive issues, pain or other chronic symptoms. Unfortunately our bodies don’t heal in survival mode. When the nervous system is dysregulated, it can feel like nothing is really working.

Meet Jacqui -

Neuro-rehab physiotherapist and nervous system educator

Nature lover, wholefoods enthusiast and mum of 2

I help clients experiencing stress, or chronic conditions regulate their nervous system so they can step out of survival mode and allow their body to heal.

After experiencing nervous system dysregulation and chronic health challenges myself—and seeing it in my clients—I realised the nervous system is often the missing piece. I create a space where you are truly seen, heard, and supported on your journey.

My Story and Qualifications

I help you reconnect with your body, understand your stress responses, and use a holistic approach to gently shift out of survival mode—with tools grounded in neuroscience to help you feel calm, clear and allow your body to heal.

I love helping clients to understand the power of nervous system regulation as a root cause of their ongoing chronic symptoms. After working with hundreds of clients, I realised that if my client’s nervous system was not regulated it was more difficult to get results in other areas of their health. Nervous system dysregulation can be the root cause of many conditions..

Jacqui’s approach

My work is centred on the understanding that nervous system health underpins how the body responds to stress, symptoms, and healing. While there are common patterns that many people share, each person’s nervous system has its own history, sensitivities, and responses, so the way we work together is tailored specifically to you.

Sessions begin with a thorough assessment of how your nervous system is currently functioning, including vagus nerve function, breathing patterns, your specific triggers, and the emotional or environmental factors that may be contributing to ongoing nervous system dysregulation. This helps us build a clear picture of not just what symptoms are present, but why your body may be responding the way it is.

Treatment may include hands-on techniques and guided support alongside education. This may involve movement-based exercises, soft tissue work around the neck, vagus nerve transauricular electrical stimulation, breathing support, and practices that build interoception and awareness of your triggers. You’ll also learn how your nervous system, biology, stress responses, and patterns of thinking and behaviour interact and influence symptoms.

Outside of sessions, you’re supported with a comprehensive, personalised home program designed with neuroplasticity in mind to help you regulate your nervous system in a way that is specific, practical, and sustainable. This approach draws from the science of neuroplasticity, emotional processing, and somatic healing, supporting your body’s healing intelligence and helping you reconnect with a sense of inner safety.

Who is Nervous System work for?

Chronic Stress

Do you feel like you are on edge all the time, always in fight or flight, quick to become angry? Is anxiety becoming an unwanted part of life?

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Research shows that ME/CFS may involve a dysregulated autonomic nervous system, leading to problems with energy regulation, stress response, and recovery.

Chronic Gut Symptoms/IBS

Digestive issues like bloating, pain, or food intolerance often stem from a nervous system stuck in fight-or-flight or shutdown. These states disrupt the gut on so many levels and increase sensitivity through the gut-brain axis.

Burnout and Adrenal Fatigue

When your body is constantly in a low-energy state, it’s often a sign that the nervous system has shifted into shutdown to protect you. Chronic stress keeps the HPA axis activated, eventually leading to cortisol dysregulation, low energy, and emotional flatness.

Sleep Difficulties and Insomnia

If sleep feels elusive, this work helps your nervous system shift into the state your body needs to rest, allowing you to fall asleep more easily and stay asleep through the night.

Chronic Pain/Fibromyalgia

Pain that spreads or lingers without clear tissue damage is often due to central sensitisation — where the nervous system amplifies pain signals. The brain and nervous system stay on high alert, interpreting even normal sensations as threatening. This is a protective, but exhausting, pattern.

Heart Rate and Blood Pressure Issues

Heart rate and blood pressure issues are often influenced by how the vagus nerve and sympathetic nervous system regulate the heart. Supporting nervous system regulation helps restore balance, promoting steadier heart function and healthier blood pressure responses.

Environmentally Acquired Illness (Such as Mould/Tick born illness)

Sensitivities to mould, chemicals, smells, or supplements may be signs of a hyperactive limbic system. This part of the brain tags certain inputs as dangerous, keeping the body in a reactive state. Over time, these patterns can retrain the nervous system to respond as if under constant threat.

Anxiety/Depression

Feelings of anxiety or low mood often come from a nervous system that’s overactive or under-responsive. Bringing the nervous system into balance can help you feel calmer, steadier, and more in control of your emotions.
