As you walk, you’ll also be practicing orienting — gently noticing your surroundings, the colours, shapes, and details around you. This simple yet powerful act signals safety to your nervous system, helping you shift out of stress mode and back into presence.

You don’t need a long bushwalk to benefit — even a short walk to your car, across the office, or to pick up your lunch can become an opportunity to reset and reconnect with yourself.

I encourage you to give it a try and notice how your body and mind respond. Sometimes it’s the simplest practices that create the biggest shifts over time.

As your nervous system becomes more regulated, your body shifts out of survival mode.

You start to feel calmer, stress hormones settle, digestion and immune function restore, and your brain begins to interpret the world as safe again.

This is where healing happens — when your body is no longer stuck in fight, flight, or shutdown, and can return to balance.

After experiencing nervous system dysregulation and chronic health challenges myself—and seeing it in my clients—I realised the nervous system is often the missing piece. I create a space where you are truly seen, heard, and supported on your journey.
